MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 9, 2012
PRESENT: D. Maguire, L. Hall, A. Leen, T. Humpert, J. Gehrls

Meeting was called to order at 7 p.m.
Leen/Humpert made a motion to accept the December 5, 2011 Fairgrove Village Council Minutes. Motion Carried.
Fire Report – 1 run was done. They will begin to work on the budget. On Saturday, January 14th the Fairgrove Fire Department will have their Appreciation Dinner at the hall beginning at 6 p.m.
Police – Hall/Leen made a motion to renew Police Contract for April 1, 2012 – March 31, 2013 with the Village of Akron at a rate of $20,857.20. Motion Carried.
DPW – Humpert will put together a DPW committee meeting, also to discuss and update the employee handbook.
Old Business –
Humpert has had no contact on a grant yet from DTE Energy. Leen will work with Englehart on the tree grant for the park. Maguire has not heard from the asbestos removal company as of yet.
New Business - None
Financial
Hall/Leen made a motion to pay disbursements. Motion Carried.
As there was no other business, meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
