Adoption of the Title VI NON-DISCRIMINATION PLAN

It is hereby resolved by the Village of Fairgrove, State of Michigan, that:

WHEREAS; The Village is required to comply with federal and state civil rights regulations, and

WHEREAS; the Michigan Department of Transportation requires the village to create a Title VI Non-Discrimination Plan and Limited English Proficiency Plan, and

WHEREAS; The Civil Rights Program Unit of the Michigan Department of Transportation has provided the required format and pre-approval of the required plan, and

WHEREAS; Failure to adopt Title VI NON-discrimination Plan will result in the termination of MDOT funding

THEREFORE; It shall be the public policy of this Village to adopt the Title VI Non-Discrimination Plan as approved by the Civil Rights Program Unit, Michigan Department of Transportation.
