ORDINANCE NO. 16
 
SUNDAY LIQUOR
 
 
 
THE VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE ORDAINS:
 
 
 
Sec. 1.
 
It shall hereafter be unlawful for any beer parlor or other establishment wherein beer, wine or other spirituous liquors are sold for consumption on the premises to be open on Sunday between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and midnight.
 
Sec. 2.
 
It shall hereafter be unlawful for any owner, operator, employee, or any other person in any beer parlor or other establishment wherein beer, wine or other spirituous liquors are sold for consumption on the premises to sell, give away or furnish to any person any beer, wine or other spirituous liquors on Sunday between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and midnight.
 
Sec. 3.
 
Any person or persons violating this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), or by imprisonment in the county hail for not more than ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
 
Sec. 4.
 
This ordinance shall become effective May 5, 1939.
 
Sec. 5.
 
Ordained, passed and published by the Common Council of the Village of Fairgrove this 11th day of April 1939.
