ORDINANCE NO. 1
 
CURFEW
 
An Ordinance to replace Ordinance No. 1 of the Village of Fairgrove, Michigan, County of Tuscola.
 
The Village of Fairgrove ordains an Ordinance to regulate the hours that juveniles under the age of 18 years may be in or on public streets, highways, alleys and parks; and to prescribe penalties for the violations of the provisions of this act.
 
            Section 1. No minor under the age of 14 years shall loiter, idle or congregate in or on any public street, highway, alley or park between the hours of 9:00 o’clock P.M. and 6:00 o’clock A.M., unless the minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian, or some adult delegated by the parent or guardian to accompany the child.
 
            Section 2. No minor under the age of 17 years shall loiter, idle or congregate in or on any public street, highway, alley or park between the hours of 9:30 o’clock P.M. and 6:00 o’clock A.M., unless the minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian, or some adult delegated by the parent or guardian to accompany the child.
 
            Section 3. No minor under the age of 18 years shall loiter, idle or congregate in or on any public street, highway, alley or park between the hours of 12:00 o’clock A.M. and 6:00 o’clock A.M., except where the minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian, or some adult over the age of 21 years delegated by the parent or guardian to accompany the minor child, or where the minor is upon an errand or other legitimate business directed by his parent or guardian.
 
            Section 4. Any person over the age of 17 years assisting, aiding, abetting, allowing, permitting or encouraging any minor under the age of 16 years to violate the provisions of Section 1, 2 and 3 hereof is guilty of a misdemeanor.
 
            Section 5. Nothing in this ordinance or in any section of the ordinance shall be construed to conflict with the state laws relative to the employment of minors.
 
            Section 6. PENALTY Any person who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
