ORDINANCE NO. 35
TRESPASSING
An ordinance relative to trespass upon lands and premises of another.
THE VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE ORDAINS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully enter upon the lands or premises of another without lawful authority after having been forbidden to do so by the owner or occupant, agent or servant of the owner or occupant.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person who without lawful authority neglects or refuses to depart from the lands or premises of another upon being notified to depart therefrom by the owner or occupant, the agent or servant of either.
Section 3. Any person convicted of violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed $50.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed 30 days or by both such fine and imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.
Section 4. Severability: Each section of this ordinance and each provision of any section shall be considered separable and the invalidity of any portion of this ordinance shall not affect the validity or enforcement of any other portion.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be effective after publication and expiration of the time prescribed by law.
